About US

Flashback Stories was initially started for funny videos, ads & short films. Later we started open mic events& Creative Writing Workshop generally poetry / story telling / singing / stand up comedy all mixed up in one open mic event happening across the country.

we started “Pen, Poetry & Mic”specifically poetry event. In which all aspiring writers/poet can participate and perform their poetry in front of live audience.

So far we have organised 10 events of PPM i.e: Pen Poetry & Mic in Ahmedabad. 2 events each in Mumbai & Vadodara, 1-1 each in Pune, Indore & Surat .

Since May 2019 we have also started specifically story telling events named “Kathnik” so that likeminded people can come and enjoy the storytelling experience.

One Storytelling event was also organised in Mumbai and
so far we have organised same KATHNIK event twice in Ahmedabad.

And now last but not least
we also organise clean comedy event named “FUNCASTIC”
stand up comedy. nowadays on youtube and other social media portal many stand up comedy act are available and we personally think that almost every alternate video is 18+ content. Hence, we started Clean comedy event for all aspiring stand up comedians.

We also make videos of our participants and later upload on our youtube channel.

Short films we have made so far:
Mentality , Samvaad , Chithhi, Kitu& now recently our team flashback stories participated in India Film Project 8 “IFP8”
50 hours film making challenge.

In which we have made a short film in 50 hours
right from scripting,casting,location,shoot,edit& upload to India Film Project everything under 50 hours.

soon we are going to upload that short film which was participated in this India Film Project named “Naseehat”.

Creative Writing Workshop:
This workshop for story / novel writing is conducted by best selling author
“Tasneem Sara”

So far we have arranged creative writing workshop twice in Ahmedabad.
once it was one day – 5 hours workshop and the last one we had it was extensive weekend workshop divided in six Saturdays which was held at American Corner,Ahmedabad.
